{~Roasted Vegetables~}

One of my favorite dishes is Roasted Vegetables. I use what I have on hand. This one is broccoli, cab- bage, carrots, onion, garlic, potatoes, salt and pepper and olive oil. The second photo is cabbage, carrot, celery, potatoes, garlic, onion and olive oil. The next time I make roa- sted vegetables, I will add mushrooms and green peppers into the dish. I even put two cored out apples in for dessert b/4.

{~*~Hat - Purse - Tutorials - Free @ Keri's~*~}

This is one side of the reversible purses I made. Don't try to stitch the outside of the small handle before turning it inside out. You can't do it. You have to leave both outer handles unstitched in order to be able to turn it inside out. I stitched it by hand because I used heavy material. The child size one is made out of upholstery samples. The other photo shows the purse in reverse. I plan to make more. I think they are so cute. You can find a link to this reversible purse and tutorials at: {One Pretty Thing} {A Purse Tutorial} at Michelle's Musings. I had made an adult & child size. {Free @ Keri's} {Beaded Hat using Knifty Knitter} I think a child size reversible purse would be great to make some for what you find at this link to: {Samaritans Purse}. {George Perrou} I like this man's art. Check out the video of him on Art Beat while your there. God Bless and Enjoy! {Vinginia Flynn}

{~*~Letter & Mirror~*~}

1) To create the Letter, I used a cereal box, sheet music, mod podge, crys- tal glitter, pencil or pen and ribbon. Just draw the letter that you want or use a stencil letter you can trace, break down the cereal box, draw or trace your letter on the blank side and cut out. Rip, tare or cut sheet music out, dip a sponge brush into mod podge and brush a spot on the letter and piece of sheet music with the mod podge and place the piece of sheet music onto the letter. Smooth out sheet music as you go with your fingers to avoid the formation of bubbles. Repeat process till you have covered all the letter front and back. Let one side dry before doing the other. Make two holes in the letter up at the top with a sharp pointed object. Brush mod podge over the front of the letter and sprin- kle with glitter. Let dry. Repeat the same process on the backside and let dry. Run ribbon through the holes and tye together for use in hanging it. I didn't do this, but you could probably most likely put in gromments where the holes will be on your letter. 2) I had bought the Hand mirror at a Thrift Shop and I wrote words on it with a paint pen and let it dry before using or gifting it to some- one. You can write anything with a positive message on a mirror that you choose to use. God Bless You and Your Creative Life and Have Fun Happily Crafting Gifts!!!

{~*~Short & Sweet~*~}

I like short sentences, pharses or notes. They have powerful meaning in them. Like the short sen- tence or phrase such as, I love you, I care or Life's short. What about something that leaves the reader to wonder like, {Morning Walk, Silent Fog Misting...}? It leaves a person wondering if that was a note to say what the weather was that morn- ing on their daily walk or was it how the person was feeling or both? God Bless Your Life!

May- be a TV show, computer games, or sweets, caffiene, or maybe a meal a day? Just fast something and take an hour in the morning to pray and spend time with God get in his word and listen to what He has to say!Spend time Praying before you go to sleep. Sioux asked the guestion {Who Are You Spending Your Free Time With?} Rule is to pick up the book on your nightstand or wherever you happen to read. Open to page 56 and find the fifth sentence. Post the next two to five sentences and these instructions on your blog. You may not go find your favor- ite book. It has to be what you are reading right now. I read a lot of different things. I am waiting for several books to be delivered written by {Dr. Daniel Amen} One I have on the table that I am reading is {The One Year Book of Praying through the Bible by Cheri Fuller} When we give Jesus our "bread," whether it is our time, money, or special talent or skills, he is able to take it-however little it is-and make it life and refreshment for many. Christ is our sufficiency when our per- sonal resources are insufficient. He is our ad- equacy when we are inadequate. And when we yield all that we are and have to him, he can do more with it than we could ask or think. Express your desire for the Lord to use you today. Than be obedient to what he directs you to do with the "bread" you have. That is six sentences I know. I just didn't want to leave out an important part. If you'd like, why not share who You are spending your free time with! God Bless!!!

{~*~Of My Youth~*~}

The wind swirled with the scents of my youth, I don't know how to explain it, why the memories of my walk today were not from any other time, Walking down a path between homes the cut grass smells of a time spent in the park of my childhood, A sweet- ness in the air brought memories of swim caps and clorinated water at the public pool, ketchup only from that time period, even cow manure reminds me of the time when the twins and I tried to herd the cows, the river must be miles away but I can smell it, something in the park smells like my friends chicken coop, even the light and the heat of the day, a Blue Bird with something in it's mouth while flying makes a noise that sounds like a vintage toddler toy, I see myself playing with it, a Morning Dove keeps it's eye on me. Has this ever happen to you?

Side by side, hand in hand, the two of them, sweet love walks, a jogger around and around he goes on the path in the park, tiny acorns fallen on the ground, moist warm air, cool breeze, it's that bush again playing tricks with it's scent, It seems everytime I pass it the scent changes, what is it? I stop and put my nose in the blossom's, smells so good, like candy at the moment. The bees love it. Evening walk, Rain tomorrow, I can see it coming as the sun starts it's decent in the sky, the last day of July. I smell ketchup, I hear children playing, people riding on their bikes, cars whizzing passed me, someone is having Fried Chicken tonight. {~*~Book~*~}

{The Paper Home by Labeena Ishaque} has some really great projects to make in it. I seen it on the book shelf at the library and checked it out. Have you seen this {Book}?

{~*~Blackberries and Butterflies~*~}

I had to take a video and book back to the library. I checked out some others. I've been wanting to read The Diary of a Young Girl Anne Frank. It includes previously unpub- lished material. After the Library I went to the Post Office and onto the store. I decided to take a short walk before shopping. I had found some blackberries along side a road. So I picked some to bring home. I picked enough to put in a Blueberry-Lemon Muffin recipe out of a Better Homes and Gardens All-time Favorite Fruit recipes. Pg. 32. It calls for 1 tsp. of finely shredded lemon peel. I use more of the lemon peel. I like it much better that way. Dd said they'd taste good with just the lemon she thought. So sometime I'll have to try it. I am sure it will taste just as good. A tip if you have the oven on and you need to melt some butter. I just put butter in a pyrex bowl and sit it on the burner where the heat vent comes up from the oven. It melts with- out using extra electricity. Pyrex bowls are not ment for stovetop or broiler but I figure that if I don't have the burner on it won't break. It worked for me. I also do this if I want to keep something warm without having the burner on. This only works if your using the oven. I watched two white Butter- flies and some Bumblebees today while pick- ing Blackberries. I think I am on my way to recovering. I still can not sit for long periods at the computer though. I have some things to catch up on around here. So when I am caught up I'll be back to visiting blogs. GOD Bless and Thank You So Much For All The Prayers and Well Wishes!!!

The pattern looked like a pony but when I added the mat- erial between the ears it didn't look like the pattern I had created. This is a much smaller stuffed animal than the Mumblina ended up being. I really need to finish it. Every once in awhile I pick it up and wrap ribbon around it and just can't seem to find yet what I want to add to it.

The birds mouths move when you move the wings. It was fun. I didn't have colored paper so I used grocery paper bags. One of my dear great-nieces helped me do some of the cutting. Did I say she loves using scissors? Well she does. We had lots of fun and we all went to the park a couple of times too. They love going to the park. It was a nice sunny day & weekend.
