{~*~Gift Ideas~*~}
Give to Charities, Buy a Gift for a Toy Drive, Give Food to the Food Banks, Give your time as a Volunteer, Buy a Gift Card to a place like a resturant or grocery store that you see the homeless people hanging around a lot and give it to a homeless person, look up online in your area for places that help the homeless and print off the infor-
mation and make into booklets and along with the gift card give them that too. You can buy or make bags and fill them with things the homeless might use, There are websites online that give you information on what to put inside them. Remember the People in Retirement Homes, Hospitals, Children Hospitals, Neighbors or Anyone in Need. Please Remember these People All Year Round!!! Remember to always be Kind to People. You never know what they have been through or are going through. That includes Being Kind to Yourself and Your Family too! Thank You For Caring and Being so Generous in Giv-ing!!! My Prayer is that Your Lives Will Be Filled with the Lord's Overflowing Abundance of Love & Blessing's that come from the Father in Heaven! Happy Holiday's To You and a Very Merry Christmas Too!!! Enjoy!

{~*~Montessori By Hand~*~}
I was trying to put up her recycled bath mat tutorial but it I can't get the link to work, so you can find it at her site dated Friday, Novemeber 2, 2007. She also has a really cute apron she has sewn. I don't think there is a tutorial of that though. You will find some cute paper clip ice stake ornaments you can make. I think if you look at them you can figure out how to make them. They look simple enough.The date that you will find them at her blog is Thursday, November 15, 2007. Enjoy Yourself!

{~*~Acorns~*~}
http://www.backwoodshome.com/articles2/clay79.html I've been collecting a lot of the acorns on my walks. You can learn something's about them at this site. You can also use them in crafts. I can't remember where I seen some ornaments made out of acorns on a blog. I did watch part of Martha Stewart today and seen a pendent and a pin made from the top of an acorn. You'll have to check her site to see what else was used to make them. She is on my list at the right. Have a Blessed Month!

{~*~Cloth Baseball~*~}
I was looking for a ball tuturial for the flaxseed poc-
ket warmers. I found this cloth baseball tutorial. I made round ones but not ball shaped ones. I will make a smaller version of this baseball to fit inside the pockets of jackets/coats. I think I will make a baseball size for a gift as a toy for dgrnph by re-
cycling some of my worn out jeans. I might make dgrd one with flowered jeans material. Gift idea: http://www.wikihow.com/Sew-a-Cloth-Baseball

{~*~Teary Eyed~*~}
Walking tonight, seen Christmas lights, memories fill my mind, tearing up just thinking about those times, miss my Dad, coming home through the park, wipe my tears off my cheeks, just want to sit down and cry, but I don't, I continue toward home, holding back tears best I can, don't want anyone to ask me the reason for the tears, because I just might not be able to hold onto them any- more, if they do, I just woudn't be able to tell them any- way the reason why, The only thing I'd be able to do is break down, let it all out and cry. ~Flassie
{~*~World Verses the Word~*~}
The World says you can't Change, The Word says, Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Just heard Pastor Larry Huch say this on Rod Parsley's show today. Shalom

{~*~Waste Not~*~}
A few tips: Add water to liquid soaps and put cap back on and shake it up. Let it stand and all the bubbles will settle or use right away, if need be. I can get more loads of wash by doing this. I put my last bits of leftover bar soap in a mesh bag I recycled and tied the ends and used them up that way. One time I cooked a bar cookie to long and it got rock hard but not burnt. I let it cool. Than I added milk and put it back in the oven to cook. It turned into pudding. Yummy and it didn't have to be thrown out.
{~*~Flaxseed Micro Pillow~*~}
Dd brought home some material to make Flaxseed Microwave Pillows. She had bought the dark flaxseeds but since then has found out the golden ones are better for this project. So I set up my Featherweight and made my first one last night. I had some lavender and let me tell you, a little lavender will do, if you add it to the seeds. We did read though that about the 12th time the scent wouldn't be as strong. She loved it and let me use it last night to warm my bed. I had wrapped it in a towel and put it at the bottom of my bed under the blankets. I have a hard time going to sleep if my feet are not warm in the cold months of the year. The next ones we make are going to be with covers that way they can be taken off and washed. I won't have to wrap it in a towel that way either. If a 100% cotton is used you have to wash in cold water and air dry. Otherwise they will shink in warm or hot water and in the dryer. I know I seen a tutorial on this but I can't seem to find it. I think the way I will make the covers is sort of like making a pillow sham, but a little different. I'll let you know what we come up with. Do your research for microwave wattages are different. Not all microwaves are the same. That will determine how long you microwave it. That and the size of the pillow. We are also going to make pocket ones. Check out my other blog entry that I added tutorial links for other gifts you can make. Scroll down to this months blog entries list to find it. Have fun making handmade gifts! Happy Holidays!
{~*~Egg Nog~*~}
Tip from a dsil: If you buy Egg Nog and you think it is to thick for your liking, just add milk. I figured out the add-
ed benefit to this is the Egg Nog won't be used up as fast, and if your needing more servings that will help out a little on your budget too. I like it much better myself this way. You can put a little freshly grated nutmeg on top of each serving if you'd like. Happy Holidays To You!

Cold Beautiful Day full of Sunshine. I bought me a pair of Thrift Shop jeans and some gifts at one of my favorite shops. Also a record that is yellow in color. We'll see how it plays. If it doesn't have that great of sound I might melt it into a bowl or mail holder.

{~*Zipper Lube*~}
I was away from home yesterday after using the ladies room I went to zip up my pants, but my zipper got stuck. It wasn't stuck in the material. I thought, Oh no, what to do, what to do? I seen the creamy soft soap on the counter and I decided to put a tiny amount on my finger and rub it up & down the zipper parts. It worked. I than open and shut the zipper a few times to get it all lubed. For the rest of the day it was fine. Have a Blessed Week!

Power outages happen or sometimes you just can't afford to crank up the heat. I found some tips at this website: {Stay Warm at Home Without a Heater} When the temp drops to freezing we open our cold water faucets to drip so the pipes don't freeze. Still Busy!
