I've been feeling lately like I want to paint with my whole body. Spin around on a color wheel, painting rainbows of hope with miracles for everyone who needs one in their life. I finished my slippers. I haven't found my leather yet. I was going to put that on the bottom of them. The leather is from boots given to me that I cut up. I was going to use the suede side of the leather to have grip so I wouldn't slip. I used this tip instead that I found on Wed. Made eggless chocolate chip cookies & was tired of making cookies so I put the rest of the batch in a glass baking dish and made bar cookies. Yummy even though they are not for me. Washed jackets and ripped out the zipper of one jacket to make a linning for another jacket. I cut out a pair of new slippers from an old wool scraf I've had for 20 or 21years. I didn't print out marthas pattern because our printer isn't working at the moment. Martha has a templeate you can print out. You can look up felt slippers at her site and find it. marthastewart I drew mine from looking at this site called Sew Green: sewgreen My very first pairs of slippers I had modified Martha's Felt ones because I wasn't using felt. I have to say the wool ones and my others I kept having to make them smaller and smaller till they finally fit. I think I need to learn how to do the measurements when I am drawing them. I was gone longer than I had planned yesterday on the 13th. Did errands and went Thrift Shopping. Came home baked a potato and broccoli and ate a raw carrot. Got ready to go to take care of dgrnph & dgrnc's. Sang to the kids. Listened to them sing. I bought this item for 99 cents. All of what I bought at the one Thrift store I got a 20% discount. There is a lot on this roll. I went to buy a pair of jeans and bought some tops also. Two I will alter. Loom knitted on the 12th.

I had a tangerine starting to dry up and decided to throw it into a pan of hot water and boil it a little bit. It plumped it right up and it was juicy. I heard about doing this to a fresh lemon if you'd like to get more juice from it. I never tried in on any citus fruit drying up. So I was surprized to find out I didn't have to throw it out.

Went to bed earlier than I had been lately. I kept waking up with thoughts that I needed to pray for the world and for all the people on the planet. I am really tired this morning. It's going to be a beautiful day though. Went to bed early again. Journaling, Self-portrait and Prayer.

Making up songs while driving home in the dark lost. Might make it into a journal page. Song: I might be lost, don't know where I am at, don't know where I am going, don't know where I am going to end up at. But I know I am not alone, there is one who knows just where I at! Even if I am lost at the moment, I am sure I will find my way back, find my way back home. It's just a matter of time, at least I haven't went around in circles these time. You see I've been lost before. So I'll keep on a driving till I see a familier road that I know will lead to home, home, home, back home. I don't have to worry because I know that I'm not alone, even if I am lost. It's just a matter of time. I am even low on gas. But I know I don't have to worry, because I know I will find my way home at last!!! Loo Loopy Loo!!! Just Making a Loop on my way home. LOL! Sketched Popcorn Plant Path tonight. http://www.creativeeveryday.com/ (Day 5) Mostly rested today. Thought of drawing a childhood memory of me planting a pop corn seed in path that lead to our garden. Remembered it got stepped on. Kind of like made me think about staying stuck on a path that leads in the wrong direction and how you can get trampled on that path. This came to my mind about following a path that leads to no where. I thought that even if you follow a road that leads to a dead end, you have ended up somewhere, it just might not of lead you to where you really wanted to be. Be careful where you plant your seeds if you want to see them grow. They are not like a weed of strength. They need to be planted where they can be nutured to flourish and thrive.~Flassie. This evening I worked on my plastic bag loom knitting. I didn't know what I would make of it, till tonight. I decided to make myself a bag to hold my ex- ercise mat. I figure out a technique that would suit me, other then the one shown in a tutorial I found online. Making a ball of plastic loops is suggested at the tutorial I found. For me I figured out how to just cut so many and and add another loop as I go. Check below for photo.
