Sweets & Immune System
Remember sugar weakens the immune system. So you might not want to let your kids eat a lot of that candy they are bringing home tonight. I was listening to a program and a parent was concerned about germs on the candy wrappers. I was thinking if the parents are concerned about germs on the candy wrappers they might put all the candy the kids brought home in a freezer bag and stick it in the freezer for a few days maybe that would kill the germs. That is my guess anyway. Do not let the kids stick their hands in the bowls of candy either. If your giving out candy use a scoop.

The Worship Network
I turned on the television to a channel and heard Christmas music the other day for the first time this year. I usually start singing Christmas music in October. I was listening to a program awhile ago, that mentioned that Christ was born in September they think. What I like about the {The Worship Network} is that they not only play beautiful music and have beautiful scriptures come up on the screen they also have lovely photography from different places. It is soothing to listen to or watch. You can even buy it to have in your own collection and listen or watch it when you want to. There are other selections of Worship music too. God Bless!!!

A Deck of Cards & Table
I think the small cards could be a fun border in a family/game or children's room if you collected enough different decks of them. You could also frame a deck or decks of them.

Reflex Camera
I bought this camera from an estate sale years ago. On a slip of paper inside the box it came in, was written with the following inforamtion. If you opened a savings account at a Federal Savings for $250.00 you received this camera and a year supply of free film when you went to a drug store and paid for a regular processing charge. I am going to try and put new film in it. It came with one package of film but it is so old, that I do not think it would be good anymore. The wrapping it came in had been open. I just looked up 620 film to see if they still made it. I found a source. I might try at a local camera shop first to see if they can get it.
Sing "Hallelujah!"
When your feeling stressed, Sing "Hallelujah!" a few times. "To make the 'l' sound, you have to tap your tongue on the alveolar ridge at the top of your mouth, "says Lang. "That stimulates the thy-
mus gland to produce the hormone thymosine, and studies show thymosine gives you an instant sense of well-being. {A New Hallelujah} God Bless!!!

Recipe from Dottie
1 pkg. cranberries, 1 pkg. marshmellows } grind. Add 1 cup sugar, let sit for an hour. Fold in 1 pint of whip cream, 1 can of crushed pine-
apple (drained) and chopped walnuts. Everyone loves this dish. One of my younger brothers came up with the idea of freezing this cran-
berry dish a little bit and eating it when it was in the soft serve stage. I think he had froze it and thawed it to the soft serve stage and ate it. That is how he found it it was great that way. Enjoy!
Season of Truth
What determines the true start of a season, is it actually the date and time set by man, or is it the first sign of new growth in spring, a new bud or green breaking open the ground beneath my feet, could it be the first turn of yellow, red or orange of a leaf, or is it when all the leaves start to fall to the ground at my feet, is it the first frost, or the first dusting of snow? When does a new season truely begin, is it the date man as set or when nature itself is telling us so? ~Flassie
The Lovely Lemon
While looking up information on the {Lemon} and it's benefits, the following link came up to a: {Lemon Tart} that might be a nice recipe for me to try out for Thanksgiving dinner. I'd like some-
thing different to add to the traditional dishes that seem to al-
ways be served every year. God Bless You and Yours!!!

Stenciled Pickle Jar
I made this many years ago. In the 80's. A dsil taught me how. I wanted them to have a more finished look on the underneath side of the lid. So on some of the lid's I covered cardborad that I cut to fit, with material and attached it with hot glue gun. I repurposed a cardboard insert from either a dress shirt or nylon package. When I find one of the lids that I know is finished on the inside, I'll post it.

An English Prayer
Give me a good digestion, Lord, and also something to digest; Give me a healthy body, Lord, to keep the good and pure in sight, Which, seeing sin, is not appalled, But finds a way to set it right. Give me a mind that is not bound, that does not whimper, whine, or sigh. Don't let me worry over much about the fussy thing called I. Give me a sense of humor, Lord; Give me the grace to see a joke, To get some happiness from life and pass it on to other folk. ~Found on the wall of England's Chester Cathedral
