This is a thrifted ban box that I decided to paint. Not finished with it yet. The bottom part is craft paint mixed with mod podge. The lid is just craft paint. I will mix some paint with mod podge to help the paint adhere better to the top of the box. A little tole painting, stenciling, add a silhouette or decoupage something on it. You could even use stamps, add glitter. How about a glitter silhouette. I use to make fabric ban boxes many years ago. You could add material, lace, ribbon, silk flowers, buttons, etc. There are so many of possibilties.
