I added the lace, buttons & bow to the above photos of a {pillowcase} {dress}. Third photo is the front. Fourth photo is the back. First and Second photos I added in after I added ribbon up at the top backside of the dress. I like it much better now.
When I added the stretch lace at the collar I measured across the top and added a little bit more so I could sew the cut edges first. Also make sure you have enough so you can pleat it at each edge on each side of the dress if you have attached the lace to the arm hole. Otherwise it will not match up at the top.
