I put on my hiking boots and blue varigated hat, already my coat is on, fill thermos with water and put it in it's carrier, swing it and camera over my shoulder, take a walk, wait for the light to turn white, purple flowers on the edge of a piece of land in the city with a no trespassing sign, passed the city bus stop, I keep walking till I reach the water flowing into a pond, bird songs over heard, blend with freeway traffic noise, Sunday early morn, might it be more of a quiet place, runs though my mind, nests in trees, bumble bees, dandelions in the grass, dried up cattails, a little island in the center, photos taken, I touch the ground to find a dry spot to sit in the sunshine, observing, listening and talking with God, What is that scent of honey in the spring air?
